2. Principle
This website is deliberately built to be lean. We do not set cookies, use analytics or tracking services, embed advertising networks or load content from third-party servers. The fonts are also hosted on our own server; no connection is made to Google Fonts or any other provider. That is why there is no cookie banner on this website — there is nothing to consent to.
3. Server log files
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. These data are necessary for the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in technically fault-free operation). These data are not merged with other data sources.
4. Contact form
If you write to us via the form, we process the data you provide — name, phone number or e-mail address and your message — exclusively in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, insofar as your enquiry serves the initiation of a contract. You give your consent by ticking the box in the form; you can withdraw it at any time informally, for example by telephone. The lawfulness of processing carried out until revocation remains unaffected.
We do not pass your information on to third parties and delete it as soon as your enquiry has been finally processed and no statutory retention periods conflict.
5. Call and repair order
If you call us or bring shoes in for repair, we process the information necessary to carry out the order (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR).
6. Hosting
This website is hosted with a service provider in the European Union. The hosting provider processes the data referred to in section 3 on our behalf on the basis of a contract for processing under Art. 28 GDPR.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may also withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To do so, contact the address or telephone number given above.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.
8. Encryption
This website uses TLS encryption (recognisable by the https:// in the address bar) so that your form entries are protected in transit.
9. Status
This privacy policy applies in the version displayed when this page is accessed. We update it if the website changes.
